We have been Competing in BBQ for approx. 6 years and love everything about it. In 2012, Mark built a big smoker and we are now participating in several area BBQ contests. We are also KCBS certified judges. See you at the next BBQ!

Norfolk, NE Members: Jim & Lisa Dishman along with Monte & Tina Kremlacek Chunko's is an all Biker, all American all Legion Riders team. After a hard ride we would start talking "smack" and brag about our cooking skills while smoking & grilling for the group. Often the meat on the grill was not the only thing that got roasted them nights. We started competing to learn more about our craft & to be with others that share our passion.

Kearney, NE Members: Gary Wendt, Gary Wittenbach, Bill Wendt, Marty Wendt & Jack Newlun Started in 2012 We all just have a love of outdoor cooking Three of us are KCBS members and CBJ as of this year. We are all about having fun, but still want to have our name called out at awards time. Always looking for more tips and willing to help out teams if we can.

Pierce, NE Members: Kevin Furstenau I kicked it all off in 2002, unfortunatley at the time this was not my thing, I ruined most of the meat I cooked BUT NOT ALL OF IT! I continued on for about 5 years, then cashed it in. About 1 yr later I picked back up and began doing some different things here and there. I went to comp with my brother and I was hooked, the next year I figured I would try the competition scene and here I am!

Columbus, NE Members: Jason Whitmore, wife Tami Whitmore and Started this whole expedition out expanding what I love to do which is hunting. Started out smoking Game for family and friends and got great response. One day the wife and I decided it was time to make a business out of it so we began catering then eventually competition Cooking. Not long after came our pride and joy "Lil Jake", our locally custom made competition cooker!
